I am a San Diego-based Cognitive Science student entering my fourth year at the University of California San Diego. I have ~3 years of visual/graphic design experience and ~2 years of experience as a research assistant for 2 labs in the Cognitive Science department at UCSD.

In addition to being a student, a research assistant, and a Sixth College Peer Advisor, I have also coached high school track for the past three years from January to May. I assist in planning and managing training for ~100 athletes, co-lead daily practices, coordinate and oversee up to five relay teams on any given day, and up to three competitions each week.

I have also volunteered for the non-profit organization Cake4Kids since October 2020. I’ve created almost 200 total cakes, cupcakes, and cookies over 100+ hours, learned to conceptualize large orders and designs from short requests, plan hours of prep, baking, and delivery on short notice, and communicate with numerous agencies about designated drop-offs.

When I have the time, my hobbies include bouldering, crocheting, baking, reading, and beaching. I have a 1 year old cat names Boots who gets much of my attention when I’m home. I’m on a journey to create more in my personal life like I used to, from poems to block printing. I love to go to the movies, make cakes, and have game nights with my friends (favorites include Codenames and Mario Party).
